We were made to feel very welcome as four bikers and will certainly stay again. For £70 per room, it was worth every penny. We had four double rooms for one night and couldn't have been happier. After a long day motorcycling, we unpacked and changed before heading down for outstanding food, including dessert. Then we played pool and had drinks in the bar. The staff and locals were all super friendly. Our rooms had double beds, showers over the bath, tea and coffee facilities, and Freeview TV. Everyone slept well. Breakfast was just the right size, with help-yourself cereal and juice, plus a full English and toast included with the stay.

We had a warm welcome from the relaxed, friendly staff, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The car park is spacious and the location is great. Breakfasts were delicious with plenty to choose from, and the cooked food arrived hot and promptly. I'd definitely stay again.

After a long journey, we stopped in for a drink and a leg stretch. The guy was just opening, but gave us such a friendly welcome and said nothing was too much trouble. The beer garden behind the place is a lovely spot to relax by the river. We only had drinks, and the boys played pool. A lovely place!

We enjoyed a lovely lunch outside in the sunshine, and parking was easy in the huge car park. The food was tasty, hot and beautifully presented: smoked haddock fish cakes with salad, and a Brie & cranberry panini with chips. The Shiraz went down well too.

We ate here on both the 14th and 15th May, the evenings around our wedding at Nantwen on the 15th. Brenda and the staff took such good care of us, and we’ll definitely come back so I can try more of the menu. The food was delicious, service was quick and friendly, and the burger stack and butcher’s sausages were great value. Portions were just right, filling without being too much. I only wish we lived closer so we could visit more often. ❤️
