AC/DC Glamping

The lodge was fantastic, and the owners were such lovely, attentive hosts. We had a brilliant stay in September and can’t wait to come back.

The bathroom felt more like one at home than a campsite facility, which really exceeded our expectations. Dougie welcomed us warmly when we arrived, showed us where to pitch the tent and walked us around the facilities. He checked in again once we were set up. We spent most of the evening in the games room and kitchen/lounge. There isn’t much to do locally, but the games room made up for it. We’d definitely visit again and highly recommend it.

The shared areas were a big part of what made our family gathering work so well. There was a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed and more, a games room that kept everyone busy, and outdoor spots for relaxing, chatting, and barbecuing. This was our third annual family get-together at AC/DC Glamping site in New Aberdour, and we’ve had an incredible stay each time. Ann and Doug were warm, helpful hosts who clearly care about making guests feel welcome. Their glamping pods were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, with a real home-away-from-home feel. It’s a cozy, fun place in a beautiful setting.

The hot tub was the best part, and we also had the games room to ourselves for a while. Our Shepard's hut was spotless and we had a great time there. The owners were lovely and attentive when they welcomed us, and Dougie even showed us around their other cabins. We couldn’t fault the night and can’t wait to go back.
