The best part for me was the tasting menu and wine pairing Natasha chose. We also joined Jerry’s Japanese street food class and had a great time learning to make okonomiyaki. At check-in the service was great, and our room was spacious. The next morning we followed the well signposted route from the hotel for a bracing walk to the beach. It was worth the effort. We had an excellent stay at Chewton Glen.

Isabel looked after us wonderfully during afternoon tea for my mum’s birthday at Chewton Glen. The food was delicious, and every staff member was so accommodating. Service was impeccable from the moment we arrived. We’ve tried various other local hotels that claim to be five star, and Chewton Glen outdoes them all. Can’t wait to visit again.

We managed to book a room at the last minute, and it felt like having our own little cottage. We had dinner in the dining room, used the spa, then followed the trail to the beach in the morning. Breakfast was wonderful before we headed off. Such a special night away. Hope to come back for longer soon.

Holly in the restaurant was lovely and did the service proud. Natasha really knows her wines, and the wine service was excellent. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come again.

The whole hotel looked wonderfully festive, dressed up with beautiful Christmas decorations. Our room was lovely and came with a hot tub, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate at The Dining Room, where everything was prepared beautifully. We were there for one night while taking part in a Porsche Test Drive. We hope to return in spring or summer and enjoy the stay more fully.
