Rooms @ The Dolau Inn

The room was really nice and had everything we needed. There’s no air conditioning, and with the front window open it got a little noisy because a pub is almost opposite. It still didn’t disturb our sleep.

The rooms are spacious and decorated with real class, and the bathroom was spotless and a great size. Check-in and check-out were effortless despite there being no staff, but remember to check your emails for the codes. Rock street car park behind the hotel worked perfectly for us, at £4.20 for 24 hours, with a back gate leading straight into the hotel. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. This place is a gem and we’ll definitely stay again. Diolch!

We stayed for two nights last week. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to explore New Quay. The cleaner we met was very friendly and helpful. The Black Lion, the hotel’s sister property, is well worth a visit.

The service was useless. The shower was scalding and there was no way to regulate it. I contacted them using the feedback email they’d provided, but was just told to phone, by which point we’d already left. There was no apology or real effort to respond.
