Heather is a friendly, attentive and helpful host, and sorts out any problems quickly. Romney Lodge is spacious, comfortable and clean, and usually quiet and peaceful, though the site can get a bit crowded over bank holidays. It’s handy for buses, with a shop on site and a Sainsburys about a 20-minute walk away. I’d better not say too much or it might get so booked up that I can’t come back 😄.

We had a great stay and would recommend it. The lodge was a good size, with a large deck outside, parking, Wi-Fi and a washing machine, which was useful for our four weeks there. Shops, restaurants and bus service are all within walking distance. There were a few minor problems at first, but the owner fixed them quickly.

The kitchen had everything you’d need to live there, even Yorkshire pudding moulds, a nice touch. The Wi-Fi switch is by the TV, just turn it on at the plug to connect. The bedrooms were lovely, the living room was nice, and the place looked great and was well equipped. Best three nights I’ve had in a while. Thanks, Darren and Pete.
