Ivy Farm Accommodation

Clare was a wonderful host and went well beyond what I’d usually expect. I slept really well in the comfy bed and loved the delicious breakfast. A lovely place and location, with great service. I’ll definitely stay again.

This wasn’t worth the price. The room was noisy and cold, with thick cobwebs in the window, and the bathroom wasn’t en suite as advertised. There was mould in the breakfast jam, and the room’s sugar bowl had old, tea-stained sugar in it. The listing said it was vegan and vegetarian friendly, but the owner didn’t seem to know what that meant. Despite being told well in advance about my diet, nothing had been arranged, not even vegan-friendly cereal. There were only three couples staying, and I was the only vegan, yet on the second morning the owner couldn’t remember what I’d been given for breakfast the day before. The owners have since apologised for our experience and promised to learn from it. They also kindly gave us a full refund, which we’re very grateful for.

I had a fantastic few days at Ivy farm while in the area for work. Clare replied quickly to my emails beforehand and made sure my late arrival would be fine. Great cooked breakfast in the morning, plus secure parking and good wifi!

The family were so welcoming, and the room was cosy. A lovely stay at Ivy Farm in a beautiful country farm setting.
