I’ve been to Hemples Lodge loads of times, in all sorts of situations, and it’s still my favourite place. Marc and his wife are lovely. It feels like I can just get my phone out, call friends and say we’re coming to visit. I’d happily live there if I could! Absolutely love the place.

I came to the area for work and found Hemples Lodge while looking for somewhere suitable. The website looked great, and the East Wing lived up to it. Marc welcomed me warmly, and the service and attention to detail really made the stay. Breakfast was amazing, and it’s hard to believe you’re only a few miles from the airport. It felt like a home away from home. I’d highly recommend Hemples Lodge if you’re in the area.

We spent two nights at Hemples Lodge for a wedding, and it was peaceful and tranquil. The lodge is delightful, with luxurious amenities, and Marc, the owner, was helpful, friendly and attentive. It’s great value for money, and we’d highly recommend staying in this beautiful part of the country.

Marc was spot on with communication about directions, breakfast and everything else. The accommodation was very clean and beautifully presented. The photos don’t do it justice. Even the laundry powder, towels and power shower were lovely and top quality. Breakfast was amazing. I’d definitely stay again and tell my friends to go too. Thanks again.

Marc was there when we arrived, showed us around the East Wing and made sure we had what we needed. He was available if we wanted more milk or coffee, or needed help. There’s WiFi, two smart TVs, and local restaurant and takeaway menus in the room. We didn’t try breakfast, so other reviews may cover that. Hemples Lodge is a hidden gem of a B&B, convenient for Newcastle and the surrounding area. Marc kept all the booking and arrival communication efficient and on point. I’m sure we’ll return.
