Jacqui and Rob were lovely hosts, always happy to chat, and had great insights about the area and beyond. Our room was spotless, and they replaced everything, including chocolates, sweets, tea and coffee. Breakfast was delicious, with a surprise treat or two to start, followed by a meal of our choice that was cooked and presented perfectly. We stayed three nights in the bedroom with a terrace. The views were amazing, and sitting outside with a warm coffee or chilled glass of wine was peaceful and calming. Parking was easy. A short walk down or up the road gets you to frequent buses for Brighton or the other direction, and there’s also a lovely walk along the cliffs. It was a real pleasure staying in your home and eating your gorgeous food. Thank you both.

Jackie and Rob gave us such a warm welcome. My daughter and I stayed the last three nights and couldn’t fault the place. The room was immaculate and well appointed, and the breakfast was amazing. It really felt like a home from home. We’ll definitely be back soon. John and Milly x

The bed was comfortable and the people were nice, but the room was small and up in the attic. The sloping ceilings meant we kept banging our heads. The shower wasn’t thermostatic, so the water could turn hot or cold when water was being used elsewhere in the house. Parking was on the road and spaces were limited.

The rooms were clean, tidy and airy, and breakfast was exactly what we ordered. The owners are friendly and polite, and made us feel very welcome. It’s a quiet location with easy access to local transport. We’d highly recommend it and will definitely stay again.

We had a great room with a sliding door opening onto a seating area and lovely sea views. We stayed from 2 June to 6 June, and the hosts were friendly and always available for a chat. There was a choice of delicious breakfasts, and I couldn’t rate our stay highly enough. We won’t hesitate to contact them for accommodation next time we visit Brighton and the area.
