We stayed for two nights in April 2025 and felt welcome in David and Agnes' home as soon as we arrived. There were lots of goodies stocked in the rooms, and we really enjoyed the hearty breakfasts. Agnes also kindly adjusted breakfast for our dietary needs at very short notice. David and Agnes have put so much effort and personal attention into the house. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Agnes is such a warm, welcoming and friendly proprietor, and she really can’t do enough for you. The place may be easy to overlook when searching because of its location, but it’s well worth staying: close to town and bus links. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well equipped, with plenty of cupboard space, a shower room, fridge, milk, coffee, kettle, coffee machine, fan and more. Breakfast was excellent for setting you up for the journey. 10/10.

David and Agnes were probably the best part of our stay. They made us feel at home and clearly wanted to make sure everything was excellent. The room had everything we could want and more, and we both slept wonderfully. Breakfast was spot on. We’ll be back to the IOW, and this is definitely where we want to stay.

Agnes and David were lovely, warm hosts, and breakfast was lovely too. Ponders end was immaculately clean, with comfy beds. The nearby busy road was a little noisy, but with the windows shut we couldn’t hear a thing. Perfect 😊

We had a great five-day, four-night stay. The room was spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities and lots of extras, and the super large bed was very comfortable, so we slept well. Agnes and David were friendly and welcoming when we arrived. It’s a quiet spot with parking and a nice outdoor area, close to shops and Newport, and a handy central base for exploring the island. Breakfast was great and kept us full all day. Would definitely recommend it.
