Beautiful walks, plenty of shady spots by the rocks, and dogs are welcome. The beach itself was just stunning, easily the best I’ve visited. Just wow.

We stayed in apt 3 during the last week of June and loved the sea views. With the window open at night, we could drift off to the sound of the waves. The apartment had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. The furniture could use a bit of updating, and a baby gate would have come in handy.

Seeing that view change with the weather each morning was breathtaking. We’d open the curtains and there it was, absolutely priceless. We’ve now stayed in Apartment 3 for three summers running, and it’s just right for our family of four, with good furnishings and all we need, plus a great kitchen, three showers and comfortable beds. Some of the main bedroom furniture isn’t to my taste and could be updated. You can walk to Porth beach, Lusty Glaze or further into Newquay. There aren’t many places to eat very close by, though the short walks to those spots give you choices. A little Cornwall gem. We love it so much that we’re almost reluctant to tell people, in case it’s always booked or the prices go up :)

The location is good, but the place needs attention. There are signs of damp and it needs redecorating, with the ensuite floor lifting because of the damp. Some of the furniture is worn and should be replaced. As it is now, I wouldn’t recommend this holiday home.
