I don’t usually write reviews, but we had such a lovely stay that I wanted to. The short walk to the shops takes about five minutes, and the beach is 10-15 minutes away. Jacqueline, the owner, was warm, friendly and very helpful, with reasonable room prices. The guest house was spotless, and I was surprised to find the room turned down daily. We had crisp bedding, comfy beds, a clean bathroom with a decent shower and towels, plus a clean kettle, tea, coffee, milk, cookies and a small, clean, cold fridge. There’s free WiFi and a games room with a pool table. Free parking too! We even had 24 hour access to a garage where we could leave the car locked up safely, just a two minute walk away. There are also spaces directly outside for disabled customers, I assume. If stairs are difficult for you, ask for a lower floor. I’d highly recommend Harrington Guest House and will be back.

We had a great value holiday here this summer, and I’d stay again if I come back to Newquay. I’d recommend it to others too. Our top floor room got quite warm, but there was already an air cooling device provided, which helped. The games room was nicely equipped, and my partner and I played pool in the evening. Highly recommend.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms very clean, with all the things we needed: a kettle, air fryer, microwave, fan, iron and board, hairdryer and the usual bits. Jackie and her husband were so accommodating, and we could get fresh towels whenever we wanted. Even the loo roll is soft! We’d use it again if we visit Newquay. Thank you both.

We were welcomed warmly by Jackie, who made it clear she was there if we needed anything while still giving us space to enjoy our stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the location is fab. Parking was sorted as soon as we arrived, which put my biggest worry to rest. Any downside? The roll and cloth nap on the pool table in the games room could do with some attention ;)

The owner is such a lovely lady and gave us suggestions for places worth visiting. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Newquay. It’s a lovely guest house, about a five minute walk from the town centre and beach, with its own parking. Our room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was really comfy, and we had our own fridge and a spacious wardrobe. There was room service every morning. Highly recommend.
