Enchanted Manor

The family who run Enchanted Manor are lovely and made us feel right at home. We slept brilliantly for all three nights in our room, Enchantment, which felt as individual as the other rooms. Breakfast was a real treat, with two courses and toast: homemade granola and other options first, then a choice of hot vegetarian dishes. We also felt lucky to see wild badgers come into the garden each night around 8:30 to eat apples, sometimes within ten feet of us. The Buddle Inn is just down the road and offers guests 10% off food and drink; we thought it was excellent. The manor is a peaceful place to return to after driving anywhere else on the IOW, which is only 39 minutes away. The name really does suit it. I can’t recommend it enough.

Breakfast had so many lovely homemade, healthy options, and the bed was comfortable. The soft water and toiletries left my skin and hair feeling silky. We were warmly welcomed from the start, and our room was upgraded. It was very spacious, with a lounge area and even a hidden bathtub. We’d love to come back one day.

This was our third visit to Enchanted Manor, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year. Peta & co always take such good care of their guests, with a level of hospitality that’s rare even at other luxury hotels. The food was great, and the whole visit felt beautiful, personal, and peaceful. We couldn’t thank them enough for another cherished stay with my partner.

Alex and Kevin looked after us so attentively. Alex even put together a list of places to see around the island after serving us a marvelous vegan breakfast each day. The best B&B we’ve stayed at.
