Premier Inn Northampton West - Harpole

The rooms are quite small, though neat and tidy, and there was plenty of free parking, which was a bonus. The welcome at the hotel entrance was excellent. I stayed because it was near my workplace, and the motorway location suited me well. The adjoining Beefeater gets lively, with a good mix of hotel guests and locals. Best to book ahead.

The bathroom looked lovely and new, with a corner walk-in shower, lots of towels, and good water pressure. My double room was nice and warm, with tea and coffee facilities. There’s ample free parking, but remember to register your car at reception. A very nice overnight stay, and I'd come back.

The Beefeater right next door had a great choice of food, and I really enjoyed it. Service at the hotel was very good too, with friendly staff. I've stayed at a few Premier Inn hotels around the country, and this is one of the nicer ones.

It would've been helpful to know in advance that the Beefeater was closed. Otherwise, I had a great stay and would definitely return, though I hope the restaurant is open next time. The young woman who checked me in that morning was lovely and smiling, but I forgot her name. She had dark hair. That evening I had a nice chat with Brooke, a proper diamond.
