We stayed for two weekend nights, and my son wanted us to add another one, so it had the whole family's approval. The room was very clean, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. I'm a cleaner myself, and I was happy with the high cleaning standard; the bed was immaculate too. Breakfast was lovely, made with very good quality produce and cooked perfectly. The staff made us feel welcome, and the atmosphere was really nice. Thank you, we'll definitely come back if we're in the area.

Everything felt carefully done, from the cleanliness and presentation to the quality of the food. The staff were welcoming and really attentive. The food was fresh, beautifully cooked and presented, with a superb range of flavours. It's worth it, though if you're after huge portions or microwaved pub-chain food, this probably isn't your place. Everything is cooked with care, and you can tell the difference. I'll definitely visit again.

The Sunday roast was a real highlight, with lamb, pork, chicken and beef all beautifully cooked and plenty of vegetables and sides. It felt like a proper feast, and there were lots of gluten-free options too. Dessert was heavenly, and the drinks list covers wines, beers and cocktails. The Hopping Hare in Northampton has a relaxed, warm atmosphere that made us comfortable as soon as we arrived. Staff were proactive and attentive throughout, which made the meal even more enjoyable. We'll definitely return. Highly recommended for a roast in Northampton.

We tried the local venison, sea bass, pork belly, and fish & chips between us, and couldn't find a fault with any of it. Every dish tasted as stunning as it looked, and you could see the care that went into each plate. The staff were friendly and smiling from the moment we arrived, and knew just when to come over and when to give us space. Counting down until we go back. Some of the most beautifully delicious food I've ever had.

A short detour off the M1, but I'd gladly drive miles out of my way to eat here again. The Sunday roast was beautifully cooked and generous, with impeccable service from genuinely friendly staff. Easily one of the best I've had.
