Nunsmere and the staff helped everything run smoothly and made our wedding day so enjoyable. The setting is amazing and the venue is stunning. Everyone was talking about the food, which was beautifully presented, delicious and served in generous portions. We enjoyed a great meal there the night before as well. We arrived on Friday and had two rooms next door, perfect for getting ready and taking photos. From beginning to end, the staff were accommodating, cheerful and ready to help with anything. I can’t recommend having a wedding here enough. Thank you for such a wonderful day!

We had a birthday treat and stayed overnight. The room and bed were among the most comfortable we’ve ever had, and we felt very well looked after. It was a fabulous night. The place must look stunning in summer. Enjoy a stay here, you won’t regret it.

The winter special included £25 each towards dinner, plus breakfast. The hotel sits in a gorgeous setting beside a lake and landscaped gardens, and would be fabulous for a wedding. Staff were friendly, amazing and helpful. Dinner was good, although they brought the bill before we’d finished eating. Our room was a nice size, with a fireplace, lovely views and a really comfy bed. Some parts felt tired, especially the bathroom, which is ready for a refurb, and the carpet was frayed by the door. We still enjoyed our stay and would come back, but choose another room.

The grounds are delightful, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Our room was clean, quiet and lovely, and the food was really good, especially in The Restaurant. We had a fantastic time at Nunsmere and will definitely visit again.

I’ve filmed and photographed several weddings here as a content creator, and it’s a beautiful place to work. The welcoming staff and lovely space photograph and film well all day, and everything has run smoothly each time. That made it easy to deliver next-day highlights. It’s a great choice for couples after a modern but romantic setting.
