The location is amazing, and the staff are just as good. It's an ideal place for weddings, parties and nice, quiet getaways.

I've booked this venue for meetings, accommodation and dinners, and the feedback has always been very positive. It's a real find if you want somewhere intimate instead of a standard bedroom factory. The grounds are beautiful, and it's a talking point because of its slightly eccentric feel. Our overseas visitors love it, and we return when we want something different. The traditional setting has a contemporary feel too. The owner and management are helpful, accommodating and full of initiative. Nothing seems too much trouble, and guests are encouraged to settle into the peaceful atmosphere. Really worth a visit.

It's tucked into a small village but still handy for Nottingham. The atmosphere is homely, and everyone was welcoming. Breakfast was great too. I've been telling all my friends how nice it is. I'd absolutely recommend it if you like interesting, individual places, and I'd stay again any time. Brilliant.

We came for my granddaughter's naming ceremony and had a memorable afternoon. The surroundings were beautiful and homely, and we had delicious afternoon tea in the conservatory, served on lovely china. The service was friendly and discreet. Afterwards, we played croquet and enjoyed the garden. Thank you, Emma.

We stayed in the cottage and had a fantastic time. The owners are lovely, and the place is charming. The stables are gorgeous but feel like wasted space. They could use a clear-out and perhaps be turned into a wedding suite or more apartments to earn their keep. Time for a change! We'll be back soon.
