I’ve stayed here several times and would happily come back. It’s good value, and I much prefer it to a hotel chain. The staff are very friendly, there’s ample parking, and the location is good. Breakfast was really good too. I was in room 14, which was small but comfortable, and although it’s on the main street, noise wasn’t a problem. The bathroom could use an update, but it was perfectly fine for a few nights. The attached Chinese restaurant looks good, though I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe next time.

The Cantonese food in the restaurant was some of the best I’ve had, and it was thriving even on a Sunday night. The team there were excellent too. We also had a great stay at The Bingham Townhouse, where the staff looked after us throughout and gave us a warm welcome. Before we arrived, there was a misunderstanding about the cot, but Nigel kindly sorted it out, and we really appreciated that. You can see the hard work and dedication that have gone into the place, and it seems to be paying off. If I’m being picky, parts of the room looked a little dated and the Wi-Fi wasn’t the best. The water machine just outside our room was a lovely touch. We’d gladly stay again if we’re in the area. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The breakfast was a perfect spread, and our 18-month-old felt so welcome, even though she can be very vocal in the mornings, lol. I didn’t catch the name of the lady working, but it was lovely to hear a staff member speak so highly of the owners. The room was super clean, the shower was strong, and the beds were comfy. We’ll definitely stay again if we’re in the area x

The full English breakfast was fabulous, with beautiful sausages and bacon, and everything else on the plate was great too. There were fresh pastries as well, and the waitress said we could take some home. Breakfast was served in the beautifully decorated Chinese restaurant downstairs, which had a relaxed, ambient feel. We booked a night over Easter for a staycation. We only live 30 minutes away and had visited Bingham before, where we liked the vibe. We had a lovely night out and a great hotel stay. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet and close to all the amenities. We’ll definitely visit again!

The food is a big part of why I keep coming back. The hotel breakfast is one of the best I’ve had, and it’s a real treat to have excellent Chinese food for dinner too. I’ve stayed at the Bingham Townhouse at least three times and expect to be a regular guest in future. The rooms and beds are comfortable, the price is reasonable, and the decor throughout is quirky and appealing. The owners have been renovating. It’s ideally placed for getting there by road or train, with the station nearby and parking available.
