For a Nottingham city centre visit, this is easy to recommend. It's next to John Lewis and handy for the Theatre Royal, and we were pleased with how clean everything was and with the excellent breakfast. Just be aware that there are very few hotel parking spaces. We managed to get one, but it costs £20. Most people will probably need to use one of the nearby public car parks.

Belinda Williams looked after us at the brick bar during the conference, hosting breakfast for three days and lunch on Friday. She was so organised, friendly, and easy to communicate with, and brought a real breath of fresh air. Thank you, Belinda! We’re looking forward to seeing you again in June :)

We came back to the Hilton Nottingham for an event and wanted to enjoy the city centre, so the location was the main draw. We parked in the multistorey across the road, where the hotel can help with discounted parking. There was a short wait at reception, then a polite staff member helped us. Our room still wasn't ready at 3pm, though we got the keys after waiting a little longer. The room itself was spacious and had the usual amenities. The lifts are smaller than you'd expect, which can slow things down at busy times. There's a pleasant staircase too, and the first or second floor could be easier to reach that way if stairs are manageable. Breakfast was what you'd expect and got the day off to a good start. The dining room seemed to open only for breakfast. The little bar by the corridor to the conference rooms looked rarely staffed, and it didn't feel inviting. We would have stopped for a drink if it had been a more welcoming space. The team were helpful and the property is nice. I'd recommend the hotel for a Nottingham visit mainly because of where it is.

The breakfast was excellent, and I was very happy with the stay. Getting there was easy and accessibility was good. The little car park has two disabled spaces, though it was full. My room was comfortable and well equipped, with a comfy bed, easy to use tech, a fridge, and a safe. Definitely recommend 😊
