Holiday Inn

The team worked together brilliantly to give us the best experience we could expect for such a big family occasion. We held a 90th birthday party at the hotel and were extremely impressed with the service and attention throughout the event and our stay. Everyone involved was attentive, capable, understood what we needed and set up the party accordingly. A massive thank you to the whole team, you deserve it!

The breakfast staff and the breakfast itself are what save the hotel. The quality is first class, and the evening food is pretty good too. There are lots of EV chargers on site, handy for charging during your stay. I've stayed three times in three weeks. The rooms are hit and miss: the last one was very small and had poor noise insulation, so I could hear the M1 all night. The two rooms before that were OK.

The air conditioning worked well, and both the evening meal and breakfast were really tasty. We really enjoyed our stay, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

The only service letdown was that hot food wasn't available through room service at night. Otherwise, the staff were great, the bed was comfortable, the shower was good and breakfast was really nice. Had everything you could need, really.
