School Lane Hotel

The showers were very good, which matters to me after years of business travel, when I've often used the bathroom as a guide to quality. Our room was large and well appointed, with a king-size bed. Staff said they'd match the price I got through a third-party website and give returning guests 15% off. We spent two nights at the School Lane Hotel, and from check-in to departure everything felt perfect. The location is right in the Liverpool One shopping area, with lots of shops, bars, and restaurants to explore. Free coffee and pastries each morning were a nice touch, and the drinks and snacks were reasonably priced. We arrived by train at Liverpool Lime Street, about a ten-minute walk away, so I can't comment on parking. I'd definitely recommend the hotel and would come back.

The morning pastries and drinks were great, and the rooms were lovely and clean. It was very quiet even though the hotel is central, about a ten-minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Stevie, who sorted out a few things for us.

The room was too hot, and using the QR code to adjust the thermostat didn't cool it down. Apart from that, it was clean, very well maintained, and great value for money. I stayed one night on a good deal. Right in the heart of Liverpool, it's handy for most places, including the Water Front, Museums, and Hill Dickinson stadium.

Even though it's in the main Liverpool one shopping area and very central, it was quiet at night. The place was very clean, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We had a King room that was a nice size, with a comfy superking bed and a good shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were provided. There was a kettle, complimentary biscuits, and a green and black chocolate bar waiting in the room. The price also included pastries and coffee. Great value, and we'd stay again.
