The cottage sits in a lovely countryside complex, and on a clear night the dark skies are a real draw. The bed was comfy too. Inside, though, things feel tired and due for a makeover. The shower is small for a decent-sized bathroom, with mould on the grouting, and the door lock can be fiddly. The fridge door sits at a strange angle and needs a hard shove to shut; the washing machine cupboard door doesn't fit properly either. The sofas don't match, and one is very firm and faces away from the small TV, while the other is a long way from it.
