I visited Keble College last month for my conference at the HB Allen Centre, where I was invited as a keynote speaker to talk about Yoga and social services. I was also awarded there. I found the campus, buildings, surroundings, and environment really outstanding, including the HB Allen centre. It was a superb experience at Keble College. Thanks to Keble College and University of oxford for inviting me as a guest speaker on Yoga and social services. Hope to see you all again.
The red, blue and white brickwork gives Keble a look that gets mixed reactions, but we think the neo-Gothic buildings fit in nicely with Oxford's great architecture. William Butterfield designed them, and we like how they look.
The chapel is an amazing building, and the college grounds are beautiful too. There’s a good range of courses to choose from. The University of Oxford Museum is only about a minute away on foot.
We’re staying at Keble College for twelve days, and the people here have been very friendly. It’s close to the City Centre, and the dining hall gives you that classic Oxford experience. Don’t skip the chapel, it’s really beautiful. The accommodation is very nice too.
I was here for a conference and would happily recommend staying. The rooms stayed cool through the July 2022 heatwave, which was a real plus. It’s a beautiful Victorian college, with a medieval-style hall and a well-known chapel.
