Being able to explore Padstow on foot and the rest of Cornwall by bus made this a particularly good base for travelling without a car. There’s also easy parking at the B&B if you do drive. Karen pointed us toward beaches and restaurants locals enjoy, and breakfast could be adapted to our needs, including lactose and dairy free. The room was compact but spotless and comfortable, with enough space to unwind inside or out on the front deck. Great value, with a nice balance of helpful hosting and independence.

The bathroom was tiny, though it barely mattered since we spent most of our time out. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the location was wonderful, just steps from posh restaurants and a marvelous estuary view. Karen was a lovely host and helped make it a really nice holiday.

We were told we could come and go whenever we liked, which was handy. The place is just up the hill from Padstow, with private parking at the rear or parking on the street. Karen and Terry were lovely and did everything they could for us during our couple of nights over New Year. Our double room was on the small side but comfortable and good quality. It wasn’t ensuite, though we had a large private bathroom across the landing. Breakfast had plenty of choice, from cereal, fruit and yoghurt to a full English, with lighter options too.

A lovely view and good food, and the place was clean and tidy. The owners were warm, welcoming and hospitable. If I’m down this way again, I’ll look here first. Nothing negative to say.
