Alan told wonderful stories and was on hand with suggestions for days out around Paignton. He was very welcoming and accommodated my elderly mother. Lovely hotel, we'd recommend it to everyone.

Alan made a lovely cooked breakfast and catered for my partner's food allergy. We spent a week at the cherry tree hotel and had a fantastic time. Our clean room had tea-making supplies, a sea view and a big comfortable bed. It's well placed near the town centre, train station, buses and restaurants. Thoroughly recommend it.

We came back for a second year and were made to feel welcome and part of the family again by Alan, Trish and Gemma. Our sea view room was as promised, and waking up to see the sea was wonderful. Breakfast was tasty and lovely too. Thanks to you all. We've already booked to return in May 2026.

We chose this B&B for its beachfront location so we could watch the seafront air-show, and it was easy to walk straight there. We could also see the show from our room overlooking the seafront. The B&B has a car park, so parking wasn't an issue. Alan and Trish went out of their way to make sure everyone enjoyed their stay. Breakfast was lovely, and the room was cleaned to a high standard every day. It was quiet at night, and we could easily walk to the Railway Station for the steam train to Dartmouth. We'd highly recommend it. The Red Arrows photo was taken from our room during the air-show.

My son and I really enjoyed our week at Cherry Tree Hotel. Alan was friendly, and we liked hearing his stories. The hospitality, room and location were all five-star. Breakfast was tasty and set us up well for the day.
