The Parkers Arms

We stayed for two nights and brought our beautiful boxer dog along. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the location was good, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Can't recommend this place enough. We'll definitely book again 😁

We come here every year while camping, and the food never disappoints. It's delicious, hot and fresh, and the steaks are to die for. A lovely man welcomed us and explained everything. The young staff were efficient, polite and inspiring to see, and everyone was welcoming. Well done to the chefs and all the staff, we'll definitely keep coming to this lovely restaurant. It was our first time trying this place, and unfortunately it wasn't great. The chef had called in sick, and they were doing their best, but nobody told us. We waited nearly an hour for our food. When it arrived, both dishes looked so bad that I sent them straight back and asked for a full refund. The burger bun was black and the chips were so brown they looked like they were from last week. I spoke to a woman behind the bar, who went to the kitchen. When she came back, she agreed to refund us but said there was nothing wrong with the food. I asked if she was really happy serving overcooked brown chips and a black bun. We saw other plates coming out that looked nice, but ours didn't. I hope others have a better experience. We won't be returning!

We went while holidaying nearby, and the food was lovely as usual. They have a dog menu, and our dogs love the mixed grill. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Lianne was lovely, even though she'd only been there a few nights. We go every time we're on holiday and always have a great experience.
