The bed was very comfortable, and that was the one good thing about the stay. The walk-in shower looked plush, but the floor never dried after using it. We had to ask for soap, toilet roll and even light bulbs when we arrived. The carpet was old, threadbare and disgusting; some furniture was barely holding together, the walls were bare plasterboard, and the curtains were hardly attached to the rail. The loo button was missing too. There was no housekeeping at all. The bins weren’t emptied, and there was no cleaning or fresh towels. The kettle worked, but the microwave hadn’t been electrically tested since 2015, and the small fridge had wooden shelves. We were glad we spent little time there. This so-called hotel was awful.

The bedsheet was dirty and had hair on it, and there weren’t facilities for young children. We also had booking problems, including a major mix-up that wasn’t resolved. Staff and management were rude, showed no respect, and provided terrible customer service. This was the filthiest bed and breakfast I’ve experienced.

We’re here on holiday for a couple of days and will be coming back tonight. The food was gorgeous, and there wasn’t a scrap left on anyone’s plate. The staff were friendly too. It was two adults and two children, and the adult meals were two for one. A+++++

A decent basic room, with a clean bed and fresh towels. It could do with some care, though: the bathroom door doesn’t lock, the sink is loose on the wall, and the place needs decorating.

Everything was nice and clean. The towels, bedding and room were great, and the host was helpful and friendly, always happy to stop for a chat.
