The sea view from our room was magnificent, and the room itself was spotless. Tom and Melanie's hospitality really touched my heart, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. They were the best hosts ever. What a beautiful guest home, and an amazing place to stay.

We had a lovely honeymoon stay at Mount Royal, thanks to Tom & Melanie. The sea view from our room made it a great place to sit and relax. Breakfast was delicious, with good vegetarian choices too. We'd definitely stay here again!

The bay view from the room was nice, and the room itself was pleasant, but this felt like a B & B rather than a hotel. There were hardly any toiletries, the bath towels were small, and the narrow bed wasn't comfortable. We had only a couple of mismatched wine glasses, no tumblers, and not much choice of tea or coffee in the room. The road outside was busy and noisy, and there was no way across the railway line to walk by the beach. There weren't many nice restaurants locally, and nowhere reasonable to walk to. The harbour and town felt run down and disappointing. We wouldn't visit again.

The breakfast had several options and was really tasty, and the staff were friendly with very good service. One of the best guest houses I've stayed in. Recommended, we'll be back.

The owners were very pleasant and helpful, and breakfast tasted great. Our room was big, bright and nice, with a beautiful view of the sea.
