Nancherrow Studio

We came as six friends for a walking weekend. Although the place looks stunning in the photos and is in a great location, it wasn’t fit for purpose, and after staying in plenty of large houses as a group, I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending it. The Aga had no suitable cookware or instructions. The main front door was so stuck that someone outside had to force it open with their whole body weight. The hot tub had been broken for months despite assurances it was repaired, and the kitchen’s double doors to the car park had no lock, so the house couldn’t be secured. There’s only one downstairs shower, off the kitchen, and not enough hot water for all the bathrooms. We also found cobwebs in every corner, no fuse in the iron, bulbs missing from several lamps, and a TV that didn’t work.
