The pub has a fantastic old-world feel, right on the harbour front. We stopped in for dinner and had lovely, locally sourced food, with friendly, attentive staff. They accidentally overcharged us, and even though they hadn’t checked the receipt afterwards, they came to our table themselves to give the money back. That felt like genuine service. There’s plenty on tap and a good spirits selection too. I’d happily return for a pint or a meal, and I’d recommend both. We didn’t stay overnight. 5-5.

We had a lovely meal here, with generous portions, friendly attentive service, and good value. The rooms looked lovely, though we didn’t stay the night. It’s a fantastic spot with a beautiful view, and I’d highly recommend it.

The Ship Inn made our visit to Mousehole even more enjoyable. The staff were so welcoming, and the pork Sunday lunch was well cooked with plenty on the plate. Drinks were included in the bill, which was great value. I’d gladly come back and recommend the place. I didn’t use the accommodation, so can’t comment on it.

My hake and chips were so fresh and tasty, among the best I’ve had in ages. The staff handled my shellfish allergy excellently. Thanks to everyone who served us today. The photo was taken after I’d already eaten some!

I was pleased with my stay at The Ship before heading elsewhere in West Cornwall for Christmas. My room and breakfast were both a high standard, and the food was top notch. It was a cosy place, and the whole visit was a pleasure. The famous “Mousehole Lights” turn on this weekend, so you really should head down to see them. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks to the whole team for a great stay.
