Tea and cake are waiting when you arrive, and the light-as-a-feather lemon drizzle we had was lovely. Snacks in the dining room were really handy after a tiring journey. Breakfast has both light and more traditional choices, which worked well for the two days we stayed. My wife and I loved the Summer House and were so impressed by Trevor and Kirsten’s hospitality. The room was comfortable, spotless and lovely, and the house and interior are perfect, including Kirsten’s art inspired by the local landscape. We can’t recommend the Summer House too highly!

Breakfast was just right, and the care Trevor and Kirsten put into every detail really stood out. My wife and I stayed two nights at The Summer House in August, and the room and other comforts were fantastic. Honestly, you could happily make this place the whole trip and spend a week doing very little. Trevor and Kirsten have hosting down better than most small hotel owners. We hope we can come back.

The garden and sitting room were lovely, and Kirsten's paintings are beautiful. We had such a good time at this little hotel. Trevor and Kirsten are wonderful hosts, and the breakfasts were the best. Anyone who gets to stay here will leave smiling. Thanks for a lovely visit.

Trevor had great suggestions for places to eat and see around Penzance, and the location made getting to local sights easy. We felt right at home. The room was spotless, thoughtfully decorated with art, and really comfortable. We also appreciated the guest pantry. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice, and Trevor and Kirsten were kind, attentive hosts. It was a pleasure meeting them. We'd gladly return and recommend the place.

A beach is only a minute's walk away, and the house is also well placed for walking into penzance or heading to newlyn/mousehold. We had a really restful stay. Kirsten and Trevor made us feel welcome straight away, and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, the garden was lovely, and we especially liked having tea, coffee, snacks and evening drinks available. We enjoyed the snacks out in the garden. Would definitely recommend.
