The tea here is worth stopping for on its own. We had a proper pot poured with boiling water, china cups and a lovely cosy to keep it warm, plus the best cup we've had in ages. Today's raisin brack was brilliant, and everyone was really friendly. The garden is still interesting even now, with vivid red Acers and a wide range of rhododendrons that stand out much more than they do in summer. It's become a regular break for us on the way north, a lovely place to unwind after driving around Edinburgh before visiting the café.

The views across Perth from this lovely garden are wonderful, and the staff were very welcoming. There's a nice tea room too. Definitely worth visiting.

We love coming here. It's a small garden, but there's plenty to enjoy, from the plants and flowers to the water and other garden features. It smells lovely, too. The staff at the gate were friendly, and the café volunteers were lovely. Something here for everyone, and we'd happily recommend it.

A peaceful place close to the city, set on a hillside just outside Perth. The garden is beautiful throughout the year, especially for rhododendrons, alpine plants and meconopsis. There's also a National Trust café and a shop with gifts, cards, gardening gear and plants. We enjoyed the scones, soup and cakes.

We had a relaxing morning walk, listening to the birds, then sat outside the tea room for tea or coffee. There's seating outdoors, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The garden is beautiful, with a water feature and collections of rhododendrons, maples, heather and more. It opens around 10am to 5pm, the tea room from 11am, and admission was £7.
