Scone Arms Hotel

I’ve stayed at the scone arms several times for work, including when I needed a room at short notice. The team always make me feel welcome and are very friendly, with service that’s second to none. The food is brilliant and still reasonably priced. I thoroughly recommend the scone arms and expect I’ll be back again.

The only real downside was the very small car park. The staff were helpful, the food was delicious with a very good choice of courses, and the bar had a good range of wines. My room was spacious, with a very comfy bed and bottled water in the fridge.

The food was really good, though I was disappointed they didn’t serve steak. It’s a lovely, quiet village setting, a good choice if you want to stay near Perth rather than in the city centre. We enjoyed our stay and the service was top notch, with welcoming, helpful staff throughout the hotel and bar. The room was spotless, not a speck of dust, but the bed was uncomfortable in the middle because it was two singles pushed together, despite being described as a double. The online listing also mentioned a fridge with a mini bar, but there wasn’t a mini bar in the room. Apart from those issues, it was a pleasant stay.

We went to the restaurant twice and both visits were great. The food was good, freshly made, and there were excellent choices. We’ll be back.
