It’s a nice hotel, with very polite staff and a good-sized car park. The room was basic, and the carpets could use replacing. There’s nowhere to hang clothes or put things away in drawers if you’re staying for a few days. It’s close to the sea, and you can smell fish in the air outside. Not a bad hotel overall.

The rooms were tidy and clean, and the staff were great. But the TV had been out of order for more than a week, with no idea from staff about when it would be fixed. With the World Cup on, I had to go out at all hours to watch it. Staff get 5/5 from me, repairs get 0/5.

We’d definitely come back. The hotel is about 45 minutes by cab from Aberdeen Airport, in a quiet suburb with plenty of food shops nearby. There’s also a Wetherspoon pub right opposite for a quick bite or a drink. The rooms were clean and spacious, the heating was good against the fierce Scottish cold, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. 😀

The room was lovely, with a comfortable double bed and a great shower. The towels were fluffy, though I had to ask for extra pillows the next day. A staff member checked us in nicely, and when my mum popped in to ask, they put up birthday balloons and a banner for my boyfriend and left him a card and a box of chocolates.

The rooms were clean and decent, and the staff were friendly. The main drawback was the noise from the nightclub next door. People waiting for taxis made a lot of noise from 2am to 3:30am, though it seemed to quiet down after that. If you're clubbing, it's good value and I'd give it 5 stars. For work with an early start, especially if you're sober, bring earplugs. Breakfast isn't cooked, just a few things in a bag, but that's what I'd expect at a budget place. Parking can be awkward too, since people who aren't staying there use the car park while shopping, leaving guests without a space. If you get one and aren't heading out, it may be easier to leave the car there in case someone takes it. Staff seemed aware and friendly enough to let guests park wherever they could fit. It's not a bad place, and works well for a night out, less so if you've got an early shift.
