Premier Inn Petersfield

The location was handy for the main roads, parking was good, and the staff were friendly. McDonalds across the road was a bonus for us. We stayed with our five-month-old and brought our own travel cot. There’s no lift and quite a few stairs, as the booking information made clear, so keep that in mind if you have lots of luggage. The bedroom and bedding were clean, but the bathroom had a lot of mould. I told reception, and the woman there said she’d deal with it. When we came back that evening, it had clearly been treated as well as the housekeeper could manage, which I appreciated, though I did wonder how it had been signed off in the first place. I paid about £70 for two nights, a very low rate, and that shaped my rating. At that price, I felt I got what I paid for, but I wouldn’t have been happy paying more.

Aida at the Premier Inn check-in desk has been such a lovely person to deal with. She sorted out my car registration for parking and made sure I was booked in for breakfast, then even lent me a pen for my work paperwork. She’s relaxed, professional, helpful, and genuinely pleasant. It’s those small gestures that stick with you. Thanks, Aida :)

Several people from our wedding stayed here and nobody had any complaints. The rooms were very clean and the location was good. I stayed the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids. I arrived first to leave my dress in the room, then went back out to set up the nearby venue. The reception ladies asked if I was getting married, and when I said it was my wedding, they kindly congratulated me. Two hours later, I came back to find a bottle of prosecco, chocolates, and a card waiting in the room. Such a sweet, unexpected surprise. I think the manager’s name was Dawn, as that was on the card, though I’ve unfortunately misplaced it. Thank you to Dawn and all the staff. Definitely recommend 😃

Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and efficient. It’s the usual Premier Inn setup, though this bathroom had just a shower, which was nice. We were concerned about being so close to the main road, but the double glazing kept the noise out. The place next door was really busy at dinner and again at breakfast, so I’d book a table if you plan to eat there.
