Coming back from Petworth, we found a little cut-through and spotted honeysuckle cottage behind what looked like a secret door. We pushed the latch and, hey presto, there we were at the cottage! 😁😁😁 It was a fabulous stay. The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed, plus a bit more. We could walk to a pub or restaurant, and had a perfect place to sit outside in the evenings. We've been home about a month now and we're still talking about our lovely time at honeysuckle cottage in petworth. We loved West Sussex, true England, gorgeous, as Arnold Schwarzenegger would say! “I’ll be back !!”

The owners were friendly, helpful, and considerate, and made the whole stay a great experience. The cottage itself is cosy, cute, and comfortable, with everything you need for a short break. It's directly opposite Petworth House and has reserved parking. A delightful place for a couple's weekend away. Definitely recommend it.

I felt at home as soon as I walked in. Honeysuckle cottage was warm and inviting, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful little extras. A couple of days later, I found another surprise in the microwave. Michelle & Phil were amazing hosts, happy to help with every request and then some. The views were fantastic, even on cold mornings, when the hills outside were sparkling with frost. I've been here just over four weeks and am very sad to leave. I've already booked my next stay and put it in the calendar. Hand on heart, I'd highly recommend Honeysuckle Cottage. It beats any 5 star hotel I've stayed in.
