The Limes made a great base for exploring this lovely part of the country. We spent four nights here as a family, with two spacious, beautifully clean rooms and one bathroom shared by all four of us. Breakfast was fantastic, and the hosts were welcoming and knowledgeable. The Oak and Castle was our favourite of the local pubs within walking distance. We also visited Eastbourne, Pevensey Bay and Beachy Head. Brighton was an easy train trip, just under an hour, and the station is a five-minute walk away. Highly recommend.

The rooms are full of character, and the whole place was very clean. The service was genuine, friendly and excellent, and breakfast was to die for. A fantastic little place if you’re staying in the area.

The first-floor room was very comfortable, and breakfast was lovely. The hosts were excellent. It’s close to the railway station and on a bus route. The owners have the property up for sale.
