If you need a quick break from the routine, Dorset's countryside here is lovely and peaceful. The house is gorgeous and the hosts are lovely too. You really have to try Tracy’s cooking, it's so good, you'd be missing out if you didn't have it at least once. I highly recommend staying here.
Dinner was delicious and clearly made with care, and breakfast was great too. Tracy and Martin made us feel very welcome. Their house is stunning and full of character, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Well worth a visit.
The water pressure on the top floor was pretty poor, and it took around 5-10 minutes for the water to warm up. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay. Lovely hosts and home, and we'd visit again :)
At South house, the owners make you feel welcome and at home whatever life throws at you. It's a lovely place to get some peace, enjoy the countryside and unwind. If you haven't been, I recommend giving it a try.
The rooms are excellent, and the service from Tracy and Martin is outstanding. They make you feel very welcome, and South House is so peaceful. We've already booked to come back.
