Craigmhor Lodge & Courtyard

Breakfast was exceptional, with lots of menu choices cooked fresh to order using local produce. The portions were generous, hot and beautifully presented, and set us up for the day. After two nights at Craigmhor Lodge for my husband's birthday, we agreed it was a brilliant find. The facilities were top notch, and room 7 in the Courtyard was lovely, clean and quiet, with a huge comfortable bed and a very spacious, spotless bathroom. It's also just a short walk to the town centre. If we come back to Pitlochry, we'd stay here again.

We loved spending time by the little 'pond' looking for beavers, and the gardens around Craigmhor are lovely. The staff and owners were fantastic, and our bed was roomy and comfortable with plenty of hot water. A beautiful base for exploring town. Highly recommend.

Breakfast really deserves its reputation: there was a broad menu, and the breakfast room has lovely views. Our spacious, spotless superior courtyard room had a balcony, and the staff were attentive with the owners on site. The setting is beautiful, yet the centre of Pitlochry is only minutes away. A lovely place to unwind.

We left the car parked for our whole two-night stay, as town was close enough to walk to in about ten minutes. The peaceful setting and spectacular views made it feel tucked away. Our huge superior room was warm, spotless and nicely decorated, with a beautiful bathroom. We appreciated the bathrobes, coffee machine, biscuits and bottled water. The lodge, which we used for breakfast, was beautiful, and breakfast had a huge choice. Staff were friendly and attentive. It felt like a luxury five-star stay, and we’d book again on another visit.
