The town has a friendly feel, with a weekly market and lots of bars, cafes, restaurants and independent shops. It’s also handy for beauty spots, the coast, country walks, York and Beverley. We’ve now stayed at this charming, pristine cottage twice. Helen and Patrick go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and have what you need.

We found the hosts made everything easy, and we’ll definitely book again when we’re nearby. The terraced cottage in Pocklington is quaint, cosy and very clean, with pubs and restaurants close by. It’s also a handy distance from York.

Pocklington feels like a proper market town, with decent connections to York and the Wolds. Helen and Patrick are great owners, and the place has everything you need for self-catering. A great place to stay, highly recommended. 5 stars.

The cottage has a lovely rear garden and has been updated sympathetically. It’s an ideal base for the countryside and coast, and the pretty town of Pocklington is an easy walk away. A great spot for a break in East Yorkshire.

Patrick gave us a warm welcome, and the place suited us well. It was clean, nicely equipped and in a pleasant town, with easy access to York and the Wolds. We’d recommend it to anyone.
