We’ve stayed at this great hotel before, and the room was clean and tidy as always. The meal deal and 6:30 restaurant booking were excellent value. They had a staffing issue, but the woman serving was amazing, running around to keep things going. I think the restaurant service would’ve been a mess if she hadn’t been working. Breakfast was great with a nice selection, and Carol and Christine looked after us so well. They were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

I really like this hotel. The rooms are lovely, the staff are always friendly and breakfast is spot on. My only gripe is the Wi-Fi, which is a bit sucky. Decent Wi-Fi costs a fiver for 24 hours.

I’ve been a regular Premier Inn customer for five years, staying about three times a year, and my family often chooses this hotel because it’s opposite Xscape. After making a booking, I realised I’d missed a free breakfast promotion and contacted them straight away to ask if they might honour it as a goodwill gesture. I wasn’t demanding anything, just asking whether being a repeat customer counted for something. The answer was a blunt no. There was no flexibility or discretion, and no effort to value repeat business, just a rigid “computer says no” response. For a company that presents itself as family-friendly and customer-focused, it felt remarkably mean. It would have cost very little to show some goodwill, but they hid behind policy instead. The message was clear: loyalty makes no difference. It’s very disappointing, and makes me question why I’d keep returning when I’m treated the same as someone booking just once.

I’ll be back. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, and the service was brilliant. The room was great, the bed really comfy, and everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was perfect, with freshly cooked items always available. Parking was free, including for the next day.
