The Studio at EMTB&B

Andy made sure we had loads of trail advice for Afan, and even spent several hours riding with us on our first day to show us around. We stayed two nights at EMTB&B with him and had a great time. We hired two e-mountain bikes, both still new and in very good working order. Afan Forest Park has trails for all abilities. We’d really recommend the e-bikes if you’re short on time and want to cover more ground, or if you need a confidence boost.

The continental breakfast was just right, with croissants, toast, cereal, juice and hot drinks. My room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the shower exceptional. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided, and there was a fridge for my own things. I was only stopping over for work in the valleys and didn’t have time to explore, but Andy was extremely accommodating, offered me some beers and shared advice about the area. I couldn’t fault the room, building or owner in any way. I’d definitely book again and rent one of Andy’s ebike. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Thanks again, Andy, for having me!

It’s a great place to stay, with secure bike storage and an ideal spot for walking or mountain biking on the many nearby trails. You can ride straight to either of the two local trail centres, and they also hire out e-bikes. Looking forward to coming back.

Andy and Helen were incredibly helpful and gave us great service during a fabulous weekend of mountain biking around the Afan area. It’s a lovely part of the world, and I’d highly recommend it.
