Bayview Hotel

We had a junior suite looking out over the ocean, with reclining swivel chairs and footstools by the window that made it easy to sit back and relax. The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfort clearly in mind, and the food was always hot, tasty, and well prepared. Everyone on staff made us feel relaxed and welcome, almost like we were staying with good friends. I like walking along Runkerry beach, then coming back for a hot coffee. Already looking forward to going again.

Those floor-to-ceiling windows gave us a fantastic Atlantic view, and our suite was spacious, spotless, and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable, the bedding smelled freshly laundered, and the huge bathroom was just as good. From our Friday afternoon arrival through the weekend, the receptionist, restaurant team, and bar staff all made us feel welcome. Dinner and breakfast were first class, with attentive, professional service. Trevor also stopped for a chat a few times. We’ll definitely return to the Bayview.

The food was incredible, and the staff were wonderful. My partner and I had a lovely two-night stay in March 2026 after spending a couple of nights in Belfast. Our sea-view room was great. We took the bus to Port Rush one day, then walked eight miles along the coast to the Giants Causeway the next. You can go straight through the dunes instead, which is probably less than an hour.

We really enjoyed our short stay. Bayview Hotel is modern and comfortable, with friendly staff, a free car park, and local buses right beside it. It’s a quiet spot a short distance from the busy Portrush area, with a relaxing sea view. It also puts you within easy reach of the north coast’s golf courses, shopping, and good food and drink.
