The location is handy for exploring the island, and the local chippie is good. It was nice having a table and barbeque outside, though watch out for the seagulls. The street is steep, so take care. This is still one of the best holiday homes we’ve stayed in, even with a few irritations. Parking near the house gets difficult after 17:00, and the neighbours’ TV, apparently on the wall opposite the master bedroom, was easy to hear even at low volume. Most nights it stayed on until 2am, so I had to buy earplugs. The let itself is comfortable, nicely presented and laid out, with comfortable bedrooms, a big bathroom and a fantastic view from the top bedroom. Those issues were beyond the owners’ control.

The views off chesil beach are great, and the place is spacious, clean and has good lighting. There’s a nice table for eating outside, though the garden is untidy. One window in the bunk bed room wouldn’t close, but that wasn’t a problem since we had all the windows open anyway in the very good weather.
