We've stayed twice and really like this place, just south of the town's outskirts. The owners are lovely and make you feel welcome, and the shared spaces are homey. Breakfast is very good too. The bedrooms are nice, and the family suite has a side room for kids with a DVD player, which is cool. On our first visit we saw two big spiders, which was a bummer, but luckily none on the next stay. The shower pressure in the family suite is a bit low.

Deirdre and Paddy Mcmann were wonderful hosts, and the whole stay was excellent. The rooms were clean and cozy, breakfast was filling and yummy, and the coffee was the best. They also had an excellent map of the area. We visited Portrush Baptist Church for lovely, conservative worship and had a fabulous dinner at Manina.

The setting is nice, but room no. 5 was very cold and had serious shower problems: there was no hot water, sometimes no water at all, and the pressure was poor.

The beds were very comfortable, the food excellent, and the hospitality made us feel like royalty. It has loads of character. Highly recommended, and I'd be very happy to return for more of the same.
