We found the chalets clean and simple, just right for what we needed, though the bed was too large for the room. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. We ate at the hotel restaurant on Friday evening and thought the food was very good and fairly priced. Breakfast there on Saturday was excellent too. We got back too late that night to book breakfast for Sunday, but when we asked if they could fit us in at checkout, they kindly managed it. The two Claire's working in the breakfast room were so helpful and did all they could to make sure guests had what they needed.

The chalet was cosy and comfortable, with plenty of parking, and it's very close to the beach. It's a friendly area, and there was always someone to walk the dogs with. Because of the present situation, you clean your own room and leave towels and rubbish bins in the passage to be changed. It hadn't been done today, though. That's the first time they've missed us. The cooking area could use a proper clean too. I had to clean the microwave and oven before using them.

It was our first visit, and Ronnie the dog loved it. We had a wonderful stay, though I wish it had been longer. There was plenty of room. I couldn't get the TV in chalet 2 working, so I watched clips on YouTube in the evening.

The chalets have just the essentials and aren't very well equipped, though they're clean. The beach is an easy walk away, and the town is a short drive.
