The Red Lion Country Inn

The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was amazing, a great start to the day. I stayed one night at Llew Coch B and B for a work training course, sharing a twin room with a colleague. The bed, duvet and pillows were really comfortable, and the hot shower helped me feel ready for the morning. It was very quiet at night in the rural setting, so as a light sleeper I could leave the window open. Coming from Llandindrod Wells, I started to wonder if I’d taken a wrong turn because it’s up in the hills, but the location was gorgeous. I’d have loved more time to explore. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m back in the area.

Dave and Odette, thanks for another good stay. The hosts are great, the food is wholesome, and it’s a handy distance from the Royal Welsh Show. Always a good visit.

The room was neat, and the bed was comfortable. We popped into The Red Lion and had delicious food served by Dave & Odette. There were different options for vegans, and I loved the country atmosphere and friendly service. I highly recommend the steak and ale pie, peas, and sticky toffee pudding. The pudding was the best.

Dave & Odette were wonderful hosts who always went the extra mile, making our stay that much better. The room was lovely, with a beamed ceiling and its own ground-floor entrance. We also enjoyed the pretty garden seating and the beautiful dining room. There’s plenty of parking on site, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Great location too. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it.
