Sandhill House

Breakfast was wonderful, and Elaine even steered me to the right gift shops. The location is peaceful, with lovely Troon close by. Our roomy, comfortable suite was elegantly furnished and looked over the airport, which my husband loved. Elaine and Peter made us feel at home as soon as we arrived at this beautiful grand house. They really are the best hosts. Harry and Oakley had a great time too. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

We've stayed here twice now and will definitely return. The whole experience in this beautiful house is lovely, and the breakfasts are delicious, especially the croissants. Elaine, the owner, is so nice and attentive.

We loved every minute of the trip, and the fabulous breakfast was a highlight. The owner was helpful and accommodating, the service was fantastic, and the huge rooms were spotless. It's a stunning setting. Excellent.

The birthday sleepover in one of the huge rooms gave my daughter and her friends memories they'll treasure for years. Our group had plenty of space, and everyone slept well in the comfortable beds. We also appreciated the little extras in the rooms, like the lovely hot drinks and biscuits. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, and the house impressed our visitors too when they came to pamper the girls and fit permanent bracelets. They thought it was a lovely place for friends or family to stay together. Elaine's warmth and thoughtful attention made us feel at home from booking right through checkout. She was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Sandhill House in Troon feels like somewhere to enjoy in its own right, whether you're gathering with family, having a girls' break, or looking for a special stay. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it.
