The greens rolled smoothly and truly, and the course was in good condition. With the county card it was only £20 for 9 holes, which is a great price. Lovely.

We had a lovely couple of days playing golf. All three courses were in excellent condition, and the staff were cheerful and helpful throughout. The rooms were spotless and well equipped.

The courses could use work. Many fairways had very little grass, there wasn’t much signage to show which hole you were on, and there were no yardages. The greens were looked after well and had some interesting contours. Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces. We were eight old school friends on a two-day golf break. I had a double room to myself for one night, found it comfortable, and had everything I needed. No issues at all.

The only reason I’ve taken off a star is the black mould in the shower, which we reported to the staff. The room was exceptionally comfortable and well appointed, though, and we’ll certainly be back. It’s a wonderful setting for a golf break with friends, and the welcome was warm and friendly. Jayne, Ollie and Elliott gave outstanding service, very professional and fun. That’s just what you want when you’re away.
