The room was clean, though a little on the small side, and the breakfast was delicious. The location's perfect and we got a warm welcome from a lovely, welcoming host. Can't fault it.

Books and games are there to use in the sitting room, and the whole place feels cosy and clean. Donna was such a sweet host. I'd love to come back someday.

Donna runs this lovely place by herself and does a brilliant job. She's a rare diamond in the bed and breakfast world. Everything was spotless, with lots of homely little touches. Room 1 was spacious, with a big bathroom and a view over the village green. 10 out of 10!

Breakfast overlooking the town square was lovely, and everything was very comfortable. The bathrooms and room decor have been updated, and there's plenty of space throughout Donna's stunning home. Every detail's been taken care of. It's right in the centre, close to pubs, restaurants, the post office, shops and the bus stop. Easy to find whether you're hiking into or out of town. This has to be one of the nicest and largest places to stay on the Coast to Coast or James Herriot trail. Donna's a real gem. Highly recommend it, a must when you're in the area.

Donna went out of her way to help us sort out a logistics problem, and I was extremely grateful for her commitment. The location overlooking the green is perfect, the rooms are charming and spacious, and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend.
