For us Scots, the host was excellent, the place was clean, and breakfast was great. It’s perfectly placed for the Elan Valley. I’d give it 5 out of 5, though some people may find it a little dated. Also, it’s dog friendly.

We spent two nights here and Scott looked after us very well. He was friendly and welcoming, the rooms were very clean and had everything we needed, and breakfast was excellent. Would recommend.

Scott was so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. He made both me and my dogs feel completely at home, so I'll most definitely be back. The ducks are a bonus 🦆
